CANOEING

The Adirondacks are an ideal place for the paddler. The park contains hundreds of miles of rivers and thousands of lakes and ponds, including the headwaters of the Hudson. The waterways we explore are world famous and offer trips ranging from leisurely day paddles to epic multi-day expeditions weaving through a variety of terrains.

Forestcraft is based on the principle of the expedition. We are not a stay at camp camp. The heart and joy of Forestcraft are the expeditions we embark upon into the great mountains, trails, lakes, and rivers of the Adirondacks. Each summer, campers will be an integral part of designing their adventures, whether that be canoeing or backpacking trips. The options are boundless.

BACKPACKING

The Adirondack Mountains offer spectacular views and boast 46 mountains peaks above 4,000 ft. Forestcraft Expeditions offers trips ranging from one day to multi-day adventures exploring the woodlands and conquering the mountains.
